Suede Everything...

Hi loves! I hope you all had a great weekend. Here it has been raining non-stop since Friday evening and I am LOVING it. Finally we are getting some fall weather. Speaking of weather, when we shot this look last week it was over 30 degrees and here I was, in my suede boots and a black sweater... Oh what I wouldn't do for a cute outfit! Needless to say it didn't stay on for long BUT now that the cooler temps have arrived I will definitely put it back on.

So, one of fall's biggest trends this year is suede, which means that I have been looking for a while for a cute AND AFFORDABLE suede skirt until I found this baby (in Forever 21... who would have thought!) and get this: it is less than $50! Usually I am not very trusty of the quality of clothes coming from the store since their prices are so low, but this one feels so great I didn't even need to hesitate before getting it.

Since fall is usually chilly here in Canada, I wanted to cover my legs and these boots are the perfect match with the skirt and the black details of the zipper. I got these last year and have worn them all winter... I still haven't found an outfit they don't look good with! Ok-ok maybe white pants. But that is it! So I highly recommend you get your own pair if you don't have one already :)

Also, little note on my hair. I used this amazing new curling wand from Irresistible Me which I just discovered. I'm usually super loyal to hair products once I find one I like, so I was surprised to love this new way of curling my hair as much as I did (FYI I usually use Rusk Curl Freak - check it out here). The wand comes with 8 different and switchable (is that a word?) barrels to get a ton of different curls - I used the 32mm barrel to get looser curls. It heats SO fast and I am done my hair in about 15 minutes which is a record since I have so much and so thick hair.
