Peplum Top

Ok so sometimes I just want to return to the basics and spend the day in my favorite pair of jeans and the most comfortable top I own. There's nothing wrong with that right, especially when I up the look a bit with a statement necklace AND my sparkly shoes. Right? This is pretty much how I look everytime I am not inspired by my clothes (more often than not) or when I need to get on my bike and my skirts/dresses suddenly don't fit my lifestyle ;) I have to admit I got this top from Gap and I never ever go into that store. Let's be honest, we all have those stores we never go to but don't actually have a reason not to. So I decided to go take a peek and I found this top hanging there on its own, perfect size perfect color AND it was on sale for like $8!! I know! I wish they had it in different colors in the store because I would have gotten all of them. I have been wearing it on repeat since, with white shorts or with pencil skirts, and it matches everything... I don't own many clothes that cost me the price of a magazine and look this cute! I paired it with this adorable necklace from Just Jules and I find it compliments the look really well with the pops of colors. And of course, my ever present favorite shoes of the season. Honestly I have worn them so many times I am surprised they aren't sparke-less by now --- knock on wood!!
