Beach Dress

I love this dress. Funny story, I bought it many years ago with my mom in Miami, and she got the same one! We wore them together, and the shape fit us both perfectly. Everytime I look at it I think of her (and remember to call her!)

I love the way it fits my body, and the flowiness (is that a word?) of the skirt. I just want to twirl and twirl! I absolutely love that it is strappy in the front, it changes from so many dresses I own, and makes this one special. I paired with with flat sandals for a casual look, and also because it is the most comfortable pair of shoes to go on the beach with! Since it is a little cold at night I decided to take my white denim jacket with me, but it didn't stay on long! I just couldn't deal with hidding the details of the dress (that backless back is uhmazing)

I got those sandals last year and wore them day-in and day-out in the Dominican Republic. I think they might be the summer sandals I've worn the most! I just love how they sparkle, but are still very understated.
