Wide Leg & Nautical

One of my favorite trends for the Spring and Summer is wide-leg trousers. They are so new and fresh, and change from the maxi skirt (although they don't look that different!). When I get ready to go out for dinner, I usually try to keep my look easy and polished, like this outfit. You look stylish and totally fashionable, and you are not uncomfortable like so many outfits can be these days! These pants feel like they barely exist when I have them on! They are so light and breezy, and I love how they look with platform sandals. I LOVE the touch of sparkles on my shoes!! They bring a fun side to this look, as well as big curly hair! And this clutch is perfect for the look! It was handmade for me by an amazing lady from KayBella Chic, and I have been using it every day since it arrived! The mix of fabrics like leather and velvet compliments the mix of fabrics from my outfit, with the stripes and the sparkles. I feel very fortunate being able to help putting the name of shops like KayBella Chic out there, especially because all of this is a community and people can empower one another just by being nice and supportive.

This definitely was not a planned photoshoot, but when we saw the light and the surroundings we HAD to stop and snap some pictures! Natural golden hour light is amazing, I love the glow it gives to pictures! Hope you guys had a great weekend and get to enjoy some this amazing weather we are having here in Canada. PS: I got the inspiration for this outfit in Instyle Mag, with their story about stripes being a challenge to incorporate in an outfit. I find that when paired with neutrals like this white shirt, they actually bring dimensions to what might have been a less interesting look with one-toned pants! And with the additions of the touch of color coming from the bag and the sparkles from the shoes, the whole look is definitely unexpected and absolutely fashion-challenging! In my opinion at least ;)
