Aztec Poncho

The temperatures were supposed to be getting warmer, but as usual Mother Nature has decided otherwise... Which means I got to take out this amazing poncho I just found in Forever 21 for a steal! So easy to wrap around the shoulders and thick enough to protect from the wind = perfect March attire! So soft and comfortable and warm! I'd been wanting one for a while but they sell out so fast! And have you notice how everytime you are shopping for something in particular, you end up buying something completely different?! This is what happened when I got this gem. Since I think that the poncho is a huge statement on its own, I kept the rest of the outfit basic with my favorite pair of black jeans and those black booties I've worn so many times. I am not usually a big hat person, but after looking at the pictures I think I like it!

What I love best about this look is that I can recycle the poncho into the spring weather, over a dress or lighter shirt! Since we don't ever know how the weather will turn out, it might be one of the best purchases I've done recently!
