My whole life, there's always been one thing that never changed. My love for a good story book. No matter how old I am, I can never be tired of sitting down, with a cup of tea, and read a book. This is probably the only time you'll actually get me to be quiet! I can't even start counting how many books I've read in my very long 24 years on this planet, but I've rounded up my favorite books of the past couple of years.
1. E.L. James - Fifty Shades of Grey
Need I say more? I just can't wait to go see the movie next week!
2. Dan Brown - Inferno
Any Dan Brown will find its way to our library at home, this is just a simple fact. But this one has just taken my breath away! If you are looking for a book that keeps you on guessing what the ending might be, this is it. He just has a way with words... Little tip: make sure you have 3 days free of any activity when you start the book!
3. Gayle Forman - If I Stay
Some of you might have seen the movie, but trust me when I tell you the book is just 10 times better! Definitely a must read if you are in need of a good (and long) cry...
4. Marc Levy - Le Voleur d'Ombres
Ok, ok, this one is a bit older, but I love a good classic. In French, obviously (or not...) to keep practicing my first language AND my spelling! Making my parents proud :-)
There are clearly so many other books I could have added to this post, but I needed to stop myself. One that almost made the cut? Harry Potter obviously. To be original!
Hope this inspires you to stay home at night, in front of a fire and drinking hot chocolate!
(A little bit about my look... I just recently bought it from Zara and I love how comfortable and stylish it looks! They just have the cutest clothes in their collection right now, you can be sure to get an overload of Zara pieces in the upcoming posts!)

Xoxo,
Marie
